I/O Devices
LIO modules are part of our I/O product line.
The LIO devices are based on a modular concept of DIN rail modules and hardware plugins.
They are provided either without any firmware or with your custom firmware, and thereby target OEM customers willing to develop their own application on top of an existing, low cost hardware.
We do provide a neuron-c library that takes care of the hardware tasks and let you focus on your application. Programming of the I/O devices requires a Lonworks development kit and Neuron-C knowledge. You can write the customization yourself or have our team of engineer do it for you.
The product line is based on 6-units DIN rail modules, each one containing its own neuronchip and having up to 3 x 9-pins I/O extension connectors. Depending on the models, you will be able to choose some hardware plugins that will customize the device, making it your own product, labeled with your own brand.

Hardware plugins
Each hardware plugin has access to a 9-pins phoenix-like removable connector. Plugins can be placed at any available position, thereby offering great flexibility.
The neuron-c library provides support for all types of plugins
LIO-8IN: 8 volt-free digital inputs
LIO-4IN: 4 volt-free or voltage source digital inputs
LIO-4REL: 4 x 1A low voltage relay
LIO-PSOC: 1 Cypress PSoC chip acting as co-processor for the neuron-chip - to be programmed
LIO-4DAC : 4 channels 0..10V Digital to Analog Converter
LIO-ADC : 4 channels 0..10V Analog to Digital Converter
LIO-DWIRE: 3 channels 1-wire plugin (i.e. for Dallas semiconductors 1-wire sensors / keys ...) or 1 wiegand device
